ANNOUNCEMENT: 2008 Intermountain Graduate Conference The 4th annual Intermountain Graduate Conference will be held at the Utah State University campus in Logan, Utah on April 4, 2008. The annual Intermountain Graduate Conference is an interdisciplinary conference aimed to provide an intellectual milieu for graduate students to join an academic conversation that covers a broad range of topics in the humanities. It is hosted alternately between the English department at Utah State University and the English department at Idaho State University in Pocatello. While the conference has been generally aimed at those interested in English, folklore, history, rhetoric, creative writing, technical communication, American studies, religious studies, and socio-cultural studies, it reaches out to those studying music, art, landscape architecture, interior design, political science, and others. The conference seeks both creative and scholarly submissions and offers presenters a place in which they can discuss their research and interests with others who share similar backgrounds and academic pursuits. This year's conference will be held at the Utah State University campus in Logan, Utah. The submission deadline for abstracts is February 15, 2008. The conference will be held April 4, 2008.
